Description
Introducing the New Sawtooth Pattern Handle ESEE-4. The Sawtooth G10 handle has an intimating look much like the shark it's named after. More than just a mean look, the sawtooth pattern actually provides a comfortable, finger groove fit. This breaks the mode of the conservative ESEE handles of previous models.
Falling between the compact ESEE-3 and the larger ESEE-5 and ESEE-6 knives, the ESEE-4 is the perfect fixed blade outdoor knife. The ESEE Model 4 was designed by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin as an all-around tactical, survival and bushcraft knife. This is a survival knife in the truest sense of the word. It is an extremely versatile drop point blade with a 4.5" cutting edge, capable of many outdoor tasks, including field dressing and preparation of medium to large-sized game animals. The blade edge is sharpened to approximately 20 degrees, and the overall length of the knife is 9.0". It has been put to the test many times by military, law enforcement and adventurers all over the world, whether in the Randall's Adventure & Training jungle survival school, carried by special operations personnel in combat, or strapped to a hikers backpack. If you're an outdoorsman, law enforcement, soldier, or just simply like to collect quality, hard-use knives, then you can't go wrong with an ESEE-4. Just like all ESEE Knives, the ESEE-4 is a no-sense knife that you can stake your life on when it comes to performance & durability.

Care/Maintenance: ESEE carbon steel knives are made from 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for – especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.
ESEE Warranty: No Questions Asked Warranty on all 1095 carbon steel knives. If you break it, send it back and we'll replace it. No sales receipt needed. Does not cover rust or normal wear and tear.
